A 300+ Page Basic Theory Manual - A fully multimedia training class on CD. In fact, this Basic Theory Manual contains everything covered in all of the lecture portions of all of our training classes - the IVA, PD-I, PD-II and IA-I classes. The only thing you don't get with the CD is the instructor interaction.
A 50+ Page Field Test Manual - This animated manual covers how to set up, execute and interpret a wide variety of field tests that include phase (with strobes and photoeyes), looseness, soft foot, background vibration, resonance, shape analysis and much more.
A 100+ Page Tribology Manual - This illustrated manual covers a broad range of subjects from what does oil actually do, how and why we analyze oil condition, proper sampling techniques and procedures, what are additives and why are they used, why chemical properties of a lubricant are important and should be monitored, what some common chemical contaminants, a 50+ page 'Ferrography' manual (wear debris analysis) and a Ferrography 'Diagnostic Key' to help develop a diagnostic methodology for analysts.
A new case study for the student to solve. Each case study provides background information on the machine, a schematic, 'live' data to analyze (moveable cursors, harmonics, sidebands, etc.), over 100 field tests to perform and nearly 50 corrective actions to choose from. Each test and action costs 'points' though and your score will be judged once you complete the case. There is a separate on-line manual dedicated to this aspect of V-Trainer.
